Q: How I can book a tour to India? Is there a list of tours I can choose from?
A: First we recommend that you browse through the ‘Travel Packages’ on our site that includes many of the best-selling tours that we offer. The tours fall under many categories, though any of these can be fine-tuned in accordance to your flight schedule. You can also add or reduce time spent in a particular city.
Once you have found something that you are interested in, all you need to do is leave your contact details with us. A Kamalan representative will then call you at your convenience to discuss your tour requirements and preferences and will help you through the rest of the bookings and payments procedures.
Q: What if I do not like any of the tours listed on the site? Can Kamalan Travels make a tailor made tour for me?
A: You also have the option of having a tour ‘tailor made’ for your requirements. You would need let us know some basic information such as he duration of your travel, preference of hotels, number of people traveling together, country of origin and flight plans. Once we have these details, we can design tour especially for you!
Once again, all you need to do is leave your contact details with us, and a Kamalan representative will call you at your convenience to discuss your travel plans. Your Kamalan representative will then immediately design your personalized tour and get back to you.
Q: How many offices does Kamalan Travels have in India?
A: Our head office is in New Delhi. We have branch offices in Srinagar, Jaipur, Chennai & Cochin.
Q: How do we settle the payment? Is there any advance deposit required?
A: Yes, an advance is required to confirm your booking, with the amount depending on the tour you have chosen.
Overseas payment can be made using any of the following method:
* By Bank transfer to our bank.
Upon arrival in India you can also do the payment through Visa / Master card, but 2% extra will be charged of the amount paid by credit card.
Q: Is the information I gave on the net safe?
A: Any correspondence exchanged between you and Kamalan Travels will be kept confidential and not outsourced to any third party under any circumstances.
Q: Where I can apply for an Indian Visa?
A: You are requested to get in touch with the nearest Indian Embassy/High Commission, who will appraise you with the other formalities required. But for few countries and cities please refer to the details provided.
Q: Can I book only the accommodation since I am coming on business?
A: If you are only looking at accommodation options and not a full fledged tour or a holiday, we will still be more then happy to organize your stay and any travel needs. Simply send us a mail and we will be more than happy to get back to you at once with relevant details.
Q: When we arrive at our destinations how will be getting to our accommodation?
A: Your Kamalan representative will meet you at the airport and will assist you in check-in formalities at the hotel. He/she will also brief you about your travel plans ahead.
Q: I want to organize a surprise event for a member of my family. Is this possible?
A: We will be happy to organize a surprise event. All we ask is that you provide an address and telephone number where we can contact you (and not the person you are organizing the surprise for)
Q: I have no idea where I want to go. Can you help?
A: Kamalan’s unparalleled experience and knowledge in organizing group travels and tours means that our representatives will help you find the perfect destination. If you can give us an idea of your budget and preference, we will find the place for you!
Q: Can we travel destinations other than those features in Kamalan Travel’s brochure?
A: Yes, we can organize group or individual trips to most destinations in India.
Q: Can Kamalan Travels book small groups?
A: Group travel rates apply to groups of a minimum of 10 passengers, subject to the suppliers concerned. We however have a minimum of 15 passengers, which can be booked via our group travel department. For enquiries relating to 10 – 14 passengers the Kamalan Travel’s Team would be happy to help and you may find further information at www.kamalan-travels.com.
Q: What information do I need to supply to you to provide me with a quote for my group?
A: The more you tell us about the group, the more accurate the travel itinerary and quote will be! It is helpful if you give us details about the ages, special needs, interests and hobbies etc of the group members.
Q: What will I be charged if I have to cancel my booking?
A: In case of cancellation of tour/ travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons we must be informed in writing. Upon cancellation (when we receive the written confirmation of cancellation), you will need to pay a

90 - 75 Days prior to arrival date - 10% of Total Tour package
75 - 45 Days prior to arrival date - 20% of Total Tour package
45 Days prior to arrival date -50% of Total Tour package
Q: I have a query after travel and wish to talk to someone?
A: All you have to do is to leave your phone number on our form with your name and the time you would like us to call, and we will get back to you.
