Day 01 Delhi
On arrival you will be met by a representative of Kamalan Travels at the airport who will accompany you to the hotel and will assist with check-in formalities. You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 02 Delhi - Corbett ( 260 Kms - 6 Hrs)
After breakfast, you will leave for Jim Corbett National Park. This is one of the first wildlife reserves of India established in 1936 in the Himalayan foothills. With a variety of terrains and habitats, Corbett National Park is home to a variety of animal and plant species. The most famous residents of the Park are the Royal Bengal tiger and the Asiatic elephant. You will have lunch en route.
After you have checked in to your hotel, you will have the evening at leisure. You will have dinner and spend the night at your hotel.
Day 03 Corbett
After a light breakfast, you will have the opportunity to take a jeep or canter safari through the Corbett National Park. If you’re lucky, you will get the chance to spot big cats such as leopards and tigers alone with other animals like monkeys, langurs, sloth bears and many other countless species. You will return to your hotel for breakfast, and have some time to relax. After lunch, you will leave for evening jeep safari in the national park and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. You will return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 04 Corbett
Today, you will continue exploring Corbett National Park. After a light breakfast, you will head for a morning jeep safari. You will return for a full breakfast and to rest. After lunch, you will head out for the evening jeep safari. You will return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night.
Day 05 Corbett – Almora 90 Kms (03 Hrs.)
After breakfast, you will leave for Almora. Almora is a picturesque town nestled in the Kumaon hills. Famous for its scenic beauty, it is surrounded by fruit orchards. The town itself lies atop a peak and is in the shape of a horseshoe. It offers visitors the chance to appreciate the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region.
On arrival you will check into your hotel. This award winning resort offers its guests a truly magical experience. Surrounded by beautiful forests of cedars, wild cherry and oak trees, the resort offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Guests can relax and soak up the atmosphere that has long attracted artists, thinkers and philosophers. This evening you will have the time to explore the resort and surrounding areas before turning in for the night.
Day 06 Almora
After breakfast, you will leave to visit the Chitai Temple, carrying a packed lunch with you. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva (known locally as Lord Gollu). The unique feature of this temple is the hundreds of bells of various shapes and sizes that devotees hang when they make a wish or their prayers are fulfilled.
After this, you will visit the Binsar Sanctuary. One of the best ways to explore the sanctuary is to take a guided walk through it. The sanctuary is home to oak and rhododendron forests as well as the Himalayan black bears, Indian red fox, wild boars and monkeys. The reserve is also host to a range of migratory birds.
You will then return to your hotel and spend the night.
Day 07 Almora - Gajurala ( 210 Kms - 5 Hrs )
Post breakfast you will leave for Gajraula. On arrival you will check in to your hotel. You will then enjoy a boat ride on the river Ganges in nearby Grahmukteshwar. This holy place is famous for the auspicious bathing fair, where thousands of devotees to come and bathe in the Ganges, an act that Hindus believe will remit their sins.
You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 08 Gajurala - Agra ( 200 Kms - 5 Hrs )
After breakfast, you will leave for Agra. The city of Agra is believed to have been founded in 1504 by Sultan Sikander Lodi. The city flourished under Mughal rule and is most famous as the home of the Taj Mahal and other fine examples of Mughal architecture.
On arrival you will check into your hotel. You will have the evening at leisure before turning in for the night.
Day 09 Agra – Jaipur ( 240 Kms - 5 Hrs )
Early this morning, you will visit the Taj Mahal. Considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World, this gem of a monument defies description. The Taj Mahal is actually a mausoleum, commissioned by Enperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of this marble wonder began in 1632 and was completed around 1653. Thousands of laborers were employed to construct the monument, that is replete with decorate inlays, carvings and calligraphy. To this very day, the Taj is considered an architectural marvel. You will return to your hotel for breakfast and afterwards leave to visit the Red Fort in the evening. The Red Fort, also called the Agra Fort, was commissioned in 1565 by Akbar. Later Shah Jahan used it as a palace. The beautiful yet forbidding structure is a beautiful example of North Indian Mughal architecture.
Afterwards, you will leave for Jaipur. En route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri followed by lunch. Built by the emperor Akbar about 35 kms from Agra, Fatehpur Sikri is home to many historical buildings. Akbar wanted to make Fatehpur Sikri his headquarters, however, he had to abandon it due to shortage of water. Today, Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World heritage site.
On arrival, you will check n to your hotel in Jaipur. You will have the evening at leisure before turning in for the night.
Day 10 Jaipur
After breakfast, you will visit the Amber Fort. Bordering the Maota Lake, this beautiful citadel merges both Hindu and Mughal style of architecture. The greatest way to explore the fort is to ride up to it on an elephant! Next you will visit the City Palace. The City Palace is in fact a palace complex built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Many of the rooms have been turned into museums and galleries allowing visitors to catch a glimpse of Rathasthan’s regal past.
After lunch in the city, you will then get to explore the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory dating back to around 1730. Next you will take a rickshaw ride through the area before returning to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 11 Jaipur - Delhi ( 240 Kms - 5 Hrs )
In the morning you will leave for Delhi. After check in and relaxing in the hotel, you will start the visit of the city with Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. This simple memorial marks the spot where the Mahatma was cremated in 1948. It consists of a black marble platform with an eternal flame that burns at one end. A visit to Rajghat is an innately moving experience.
You will also get a chance to see the government buildings in Delhi. The government buildings in Delhi are an ode to British Colonial architecture, spearheaded by the architect Edward Lutyens.
You will return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 12 Delhi
After breakfast, you will explore Jama Masjid. The Jama Masjid is the largest and perhaps the best-known mosques in India. Commissioned by emperor Shah Jahan, and completed in 1656, the courtyard of the mosque can hold about 25,000 worshippers.
You will then take a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. Chandni Chowk is the busiest market in Old Delhi. Noisy, chaotic and uniquely Indian, it is famous for its several restaurants and confectioners. Needless to say, this is a rickshaw ride you will never forget!
You will get a chance to see the government buildings in Delhi. The government buildings in Delhi are an ode to British Colonial architecture, spearheaded by the architect Edward Lutyens. You may choose to begin your day with a pigeon flying experience.
You will also explore India Gate, one of the largest war memorials in India. Designed by Edward Lutyens, it commemorates the thousands of soldiers that lost their lives during the First World War. This monument is an important landmark in Delhi, with many important roads leading off the Gate. In the evenings, India Gate is lit up and you will find many families enjoying their free time near by.
Afterwards, you will visit Humayun’s tomb. Commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562, it was the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent. The Persian architect used red sandstone on a large scale and this UNESCO world heritage site represented a huge leap for Mughal architecture.
After dinner in the city you will head to the airport to board your flight home.
EXTENSION GOA
Day 11 Jaipur - Goa
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Goa. Located on the western coast of India, Goa is the smallest India state. Known for its fantastic beaches and historical churches, Goa still exhibits its history as a Portuguese colony.
On arrival, you will check in to your hotel and have lunch. Later you will visit the Church of St Francis Xavier. Goans are deeply devoted to St Francis Xavier, and though the church has only one altar, this church offers visitors simple sanctity.
You will also get a chance to visit Fort Aguada, built in 1612 by the Portuguese. You will also get a chance to explore some of old Portuguese houses in the area. You will return to your hotel and spend the night.
Day 12 & 13 Goa
For the next two days, you will have some time to relax and explore the magnificent beaches of Goa. The many fine sand beaches in Goa have something to offer everyone. Whether it is quiet relaxation, busy flea markets, bars and parties or local cuisine, Goa’s beaches have it all. You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 14 Goa - Delhi

EXTENSION SHIMLA
Day 12 Delhi - Shimla
After breakfast at the hotel, you will fly to Shimla, located in the northwest Himalayas. The British, who made Shimla their summer capital, dubbed it ‘Queen of the Hills’.
On arrival, you will check in to you hotel where you will have some time to relax. Your hotel, situated at 8250 feet, will allow you to enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. You may also enjoy the outdoor Jacuzzi and heated pool. You can take plenty of walks in the trails nearby that allow you to enjoy the fragrant pine forests.
You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 13 Shimla
After breakfast, you explore the hill station of Shimla. You can take a walk along the Mall Road, which is the main shopping street with plenty of shops, restaurant and bars. People usually take their time strolling down Mall Road, stopping to chat and meet up with their friends.
You will also visit Christ Church, the second oldest church in the country with beautiful stained glass windows.
Next you will visit the nearby Jakhu Hill. Situated at 8,000 feet, this peak allows beautiful views of the town and the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains. A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman is located at the top of the hill and is also home to hundreds of monkeys all eager to be fed!
Kufri, located 13 kms away from Shimla has a small Himayalan Zoo as and has a popular ski track.
The scenic beauty of Shimla and the surrounding areas allow plenty of opportunities for mountain bicycling, horse riding and river rafting. You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 14 Shimla - Delhi
After breakfast, you will catch a flight back to Delhi. After checking into your hotel, you will set out to explore Delhi. You will start with a visit to the Jama Masjid. The Jama Masjid is the largest and perhaps the best-known mosques in India. Commissioned by emperor Shah Jahan, and completed in 1656, the courtyard of the mosque can hold about 25,000 worshippers.

Day 12 Delhi - Haridwar Or Dheradun - Ananda
Today you will either travel by train to Haridwar or by flight to Dehradun to make your way to Ananda in the Himalayas. This beautiful spa hotel is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Peaceful and tranquil, this is the perfect location to relax, detox and unwind. The spa hotel offers yoga, meditation and ayurvedic remedies for your mind and body.
After checking in, you can spend the rest of your day relaxing at the hotel.
Day 13 & 14 Ananda

Day 15 Ananda - Haridwar Or Dehradun - Delhi

Day 12 Delhi - Amritsar
Today you will either have breakfast or carry a packed meal and board your train to Amritsar. On arrival, you will check into your hotel and have lunch before exploring the city. You will start with a visit to the Golden Temple. This is the most significant temple for the Sikh community. The ‘langar’ or community kitchen serves free meals all year round to roughly 40,000 visitors a day. It is truly a remarkable experience to visit this place of worship.
After this, you will visit the Jallianwala Bagh. This small park was the site of a massacre in 1919 spearheaded by a British general. This event caused general unrest and agitations and was one of the precursors to India’s struggle for freedom.
Next you will visit the Durgiana temple. Dedicated to the Goddess Durga, this temple is based on the architecture of the Golden Temple. You will then visit Rambagh, the palace and gardens of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The summer palace has now been converted into a museum holding weapons and portraits.

Day 12 Delhi - Varanasi
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Varanasi. The ancient city of Varanasi on the banks of the River Ganges is considered the holiest city for Hindu pilgrims. Hindus believe that bathing in the Ganges at Varanasi will remit their sins. It is also considered a holy city for Buddhists, believed to have been designated a pilgrimage site by Gautama Buddha himself. A city of temples, art, literature and education, the atmosphere in Varanasi is completely unique. On arrival, you will check into your hotel. In the evening, you will witness the prayer ceremony that is performed amidst pealing bells and hundreds of pilgrims. The sunset ceremony is truly a sight to behold!
You will then return to your hotel to spend the night
Day 13 Varanasi
Early this morning you will leave for a boat ride on the Ganges. This enthralling experience will allow you to witness people offering their prayers, professional washer men doing the laundry as well people waking up to do their daily chores.
You will also discover the narrow lanes of Varanasi. These old serpentine lines will allow you to experience the life of the local people, which is almost reminiscent of a bygone era.
After lunch in the city, you head to Sarnath for an excursion. Sarnath is a holy pilgrimage site for Buddhists. It is the site of the deer park where Gautama Buddha taught his Dharma (faith) and is also an important centre for the arts.
You will then return to the hotel to relax and spend the night.
Day 14 Varanasi - Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, you can relax or explore the city on your own. You will then head to the airport to board your flight back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will check into your hotel. You will then have some free time to explore the city. After dinner, you will head to the airport to board your flight home.
