Day 01 Delhi

On arrival, you will be met by your Kamalan representative at the airport who will accompany you to the hotel and will assist with check-in formalities. You will spend the night at your hotel.

Day 02 Delhi

After breakfast, you will visit the Jama Masjid. The Jama Masjid is the largest and perhaps the best-known mosques in India. Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan, and completed in 1656, the courtyard of the mosque can hold about 25,000 worshippers.

Next you will visit the Red Fort. Also constructed under the emperor Shah Jahan, this fort also served as the residence for the Mughal royal family. The British later used it as a military camp. It continues to be significant even today, as every Independence Day, the Prime Minister raises the flag here.

After lunch, you will have a golf session at the Delhi Golf Club. The Delhi Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in Asia. Set among monuments of the Lodhi and Tughlaq dynasties, the course was redesigned in the late 1970’s by Peter Thompson. It has an 18 hole championship course as well as a 9 hole course called the ‘Peacock Course’. The Delhi Golf Club serves as the venue for some of India’s most prestigious golf championships.

You will then return to your hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 03 Delhi - Noida - Delhi

After breakfast, you will head to play at the Delhi Golf Club. After lunch, you will have the chance to rest before heading to Noida. Noida is about 20km southeast of New Delhi. Technically, it falls into the state of Uttar Pradesh, but its proximity to New Delhi means that it falls within what is called the NCR or the national capital region of India. Here, you will play at the JP Greens Golf Course.

You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 04 Delhi - Gurgaon - Delhi

After breakfast, you will leave for Gurgaon to play golf at the DLF Golf and country club. Gurgaon is a large city in the state of Haryana. Since it borders New Delhi, it is considered part of the NCR or national capital region of India. In recent years, Gurgaon has seen tremendous development and construction as many multinational companies have set up their headquarters here.

The DLF Golf course and Country Club is a championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. It hosts many of the largest and most prestiigious golf championships in India.

You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 05 Delhi - Chandigarh

This morning, you will catch your flight to Chandigarh after breakfast. The union territory of Chandigarh is renowned as a marvel of urban planning. One of the best planned cities in the world; it houses many architectural projects of Albert Mayer and Le Corbusier.

On arrival, you will check into your hotel. After lunch, you will play at the Chandigarh Golf Course. This 18-hole, par 72 course has some challenging dogleg holes and also has one of the longest par 5’s in the country.

You will return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 06 Chandigarh – Shimla ( 120 Kms - 4 Hrs )

After breakfast at the hotel, you will fly to Shimla, located in the northwest Himalayas. The British, who made Shimla their summer capital, dubbed it ‘Queen of the Hills’.

On arrival, you will check in to you hotel. After lunch, you will visit Christ Church, the second oldest church in the country with beautiful stained glass windows.

Next you will visit the nearby Jakhu Hill. Situated at 8,000 feet, this peak allows beautiful views of the town and the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains. A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman is located at the top of the hill and is also home to hundreds of monkeys all eager to be fed!

You can take a walk along the Mall Road, which is the main shopping street with plenty of shops, restaurant and bars. People usually take their time strolling down Mall Road, stopping to chat and meet up with their friends.

You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 07 Shimla

After breakfast, you will leave for a game at the Naldehra Golf Course. Originally built as a 9-hole course, over 100 years ago, the Naldehra Golf Course has since been expanded to a full 18 holes. Located at an altitude of 2200 meters, the course is a par 68.

After a leisurely lunch, you will return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 8 Shimla

This morning, you will have breakfast and head for a visit of Kufri. Kufri is located 13 kms away from Shimla has a small Himayalan Zoo as and has a popular ski track.

After lunch, you will have another game at the Naldehra Golf Course. You will then return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 9 Shimla - Delhi

After breakfast, you will head to the airport to board you flight to Delhi. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel.

You will then leave for a visit Humayun’s tomb. Commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562, it was the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent. The Persian architect used red sandstone on a large scale and this UNESCO world heritage site represented a huge leap for Mughal architecture in India.

You will also have a chance to explore the government buildings in Delhi. The government buildings in Delhi are an ode to British Colonial architecture, spearheaded by the architect Edward Lutyens.

You will then return to your hotel for a wash and change before heading to the airport. Your Kamalan representative will assist you in boarding your flight back home.

EXTENSION SRINAGAR
Day 10 Delhi - Srinagar By flight

After breakfast, you will head to the airport to board your flight to Srinagar. Situated in the Kashmir valley, Srinagar lies on the banks of the Jhelum River. Srinagar is recognized for the beautiful houseboats that dot its famous lakes.

On arrival, you will check into your hotel. After lunch, you will leave for the Kashmir Golf Club. The course at the Kashmir Golf Club is well laid out with bunkers and hazards among the pine trees. The season here lasts from April to November. The pleasant weather allows golfers to play longer without getting tired.

You will then return to your hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 11 Srinagar – Gulmargh - Srinagar

This morning you will have breakfast at your hotel before leaving for a Shikara ride in the Dal Lake.

The Dal Lake has become a symbol of Kashmir. Surrounded by gardens and orchards, the lake also has floating gardens within it where lotuses bloom. Shikaras are a particular kind of boat that you will see in Srinagar, used for transport and as a touris attraction.

After lunch, you will visit Gulmarg. If you would like, you could leave early and play at the golf course in Gulmarg. This is the highest golf course in the world. Built in 1904, this is an 18 -hole par 72 course.

You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 12 Srinagar

This morning, you will have breakfast and leave for another round of golf at the Kashmir Golf Club. After a leisurely lunch, you will return to your hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 13 Srinagar - Delhi

After breakfast, you will leave to board your flight to Delhi. On arrival you will check into the hotel for a wash and change before heading to the airport. Your Kamalan representative will assist you in boarding your flight back home.

EXTENSION NANITAL & CORBETT
Day 10 Delhi – Nanital ( 280 Kms - 6 Hrs )

You will have breakfast early this morning, and leave for Nainital. Nestled in Kumaon foothills, Nainital is sometime called the ‘lake district’ of India. A place of scenic natural splendor, Nainital is surrounded by stunning mountain views.

You will have lunch en route. In the evening, you will enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naini. The Naini Lake is a natural fresh water lake and the nucleus of Nainital. The area is captivating for tourists, with options for yachting and boating available to enjoy the natural beauty of the region.

You will then head to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 11 Nanital

After breakfast this morning, you will head for a game of golf at the Raj Bhawan golf course. This 18-hole golf course was originally built in 1926 and is located at an altitude of 1932 meters.

After a leisurely lunch, you will return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 12 Nanital – Corbett ( 90 Kms - 3 Hrs )

After breakfast, you will leave for Jim Corbett National Park. This is one of the first wildlife reserves of India established in 1936 in the Himalayan foothills. With a variety of terrains and habitats, Corbett National Park is home to a variety of animal and plant species. The most famous residents of the Park are the Royal Bengal tiger and the Asiatic elephant.

On arrival, you will check into your hotel and have lunch. Afterwards you will get the opportunity to take a jeep or canter safari through the Corbett National Park. If you are lucky, you will get the chance to spot big cats such as leopards and tigers, monkeys and langurs, sloth bears and many other countless species.

You will then return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 13 Corbett

This morning, you will continue your safari in the Corbett National Park. You may appreciate the numerous varieties of birds including pelicans, herons and storks.

After breakfast at the hotel you will have to the chance to rest. In the evening, you will continue your safari and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. At the Corbett National Park, the breathtaking terrain covers both mountainous regions and those of the plains.

You will return to the hotel to have dinner and spend the night

Day 14 Corbett – Delhi ( 260 Kms - 6 Hrs )

After breakfast, you will return to Delhi. On arrival you will check into the hotel for a wash and change before heading to the airport. Your Kamalan representative will assist you in boarding your flight back home.

EXTENSION AGRA & JAIPUR
Day 10 Delhi – Agra ( 220 Kms - 5 Hrs )

After breakfast, you will leave for Agra. The city of Agra is believed to have been founded in 1504 by Sultan Sikander Lodi. The city flourished under Mughal rule and is most famous as the home of the Taj Mahal and other fine examples of Mughal architecture.

On arrival, you will check into your hotel. After lunch, you will leave to play at the Agra Golf Club. The 9-hole course offers glimpses of the Taj Mahal in the background. It is a relatively short game but the course is well laid out.

You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 11 Agra

Early this morning, you will visit the Taj Mahal. Considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World, this gem of a monument defies description. The Taj Mahal is actually a mausoleum, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of this marble wonder began in 1632 and was completed around 1653. Thousands of labourers were employed to construct the monument, that is replete with decorate inlays, carvings and calligraphy. To this very day, the Taj is considered an architectural marvel.

You will return to your hotel to have breakfast. Next you will visit the Red Fort. The Red Fort, also called the Agra Fort, was commissioned in 1565 by Akbar. Later Shah Jahan used it as a palace. The beautiful yet forbidding structure is a beautiful example of North Indian Mughal architecture.

After lunch in the afternoon, you will return to the Agra Golf Club to play another round of golf. You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 12 Agra – Jaipur ( 240 Kms - 5 Hrs )

After breakfast, you will head to Jaipur. Also called the ‘Pink City’, Jaipur is the city of royalty. Filled with palaces and forts, Jaipur is the perfect place for visitors to get a glimpse into Rajasthan and its culture.

En route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri. Built by the emperor Akbar about 35 kms from Agra, Fatehpur Sikri is home to many historical buildings. Akbar wanted to make Fatehpur Sikri his headquarters, however, he had to abandon it due to shortage of water. Today, Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World heritage site.

On arrival, you will check into your hotel and have lunch. You will then head out to explore the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory dating back to around 1730.

Afterwards, you visit the Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds is a popular landmark in Jaipur. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Made of pink sand stone, the façade is almost pyramid shaped and adorned with latticework. Next you will have some free time to explore the local bazaars and soak in the local culture.

You will then return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 13 Jaipur

This morning, after breakfast, you will visit the Amber Fort. Bordering the Maota Lake, this beautiful citadel merges both Hindu and Mughal style of architecture. The greatest way to explore the fort is to ride up to it on an elephant!

Next you will visit the City Palace is in fact a palace complex built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Many of the rooms have been turned into museums and galleries allowing visitors to catch a glimpse of Rathasthan’s regal past.

After lunch, you will play at the Rambagh Golf Club. The Rambagh Golf Club is part of the Rambagh Palace (which is now hotel). This beautifully located golf course overlooks many of the picturesque monuments close by. Designed on sandy loam soil, golfers can play on this course throughout the year.

You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 14 Jaipur - Delhi ( 240 Kms - 5 Hrs )

After breakfast, you will leave for Delhi. On arrival, you will have the opportunity to wash and change before heading to the airport.

Your Kamalan representative will assist you in boarding your flight home.
