Day 01 Delhi
On arrival, you Kamalan representative will meet you at the airport, accompany you to your hotel. You will then spend the night at your hotel after check-in formalities are completed.
Day 02 Delhi
This morning you will have breakfast and then leave to visit Delhi.
The city of Delhi is located on the banks of the river Yamuna. This fascinating city has been in existence since the 6th century BCE. Since Mughal times through to most of the British Raj, the city has been the political capital of the country. Today it continues to be the capital of the nation as a bustling metropolitan city that proudly carries images of its glorious past.
First you will visit the Jama Masjid. The Jama Masjid is the largest and perhaps the best-known mosques in India. Commissioned by emperor Shah Jahan, and completed in 1656, the courtyard of the mosque can hold about 25,000 worshippers.
You will then take a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. Chandni Chowk is the busiest market in Old Delhi. Noisy, chaotic and uniquely Indian, it is famous for its several restaurants and confectioners. Needless to say, this is a rickshaw ride you will never forget!
After lunch you will visit to the Qutab Minar. This is the tallest brick minaret in the world, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi. His successors continued to enhance the structure, with the final storey added in 1386.
The next stop is Humayun’s tomb. Commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562, it was the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent. The Persian architect used red sandstone on a large scale and this UNESCO world heritage site represented a huge leap for Mughal architecture.
You will also get a chance to see the government buildings in Delhi. The government buildings in Delhi are an ode to British Colonial architecture, spearheaded by the architect Edward Lutyens.
You you will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 03 Delhi - Agra ( 204 Kms - 5 Hrs )
After breakfast, you will leave for Agra. The city of Agra is believed to have been founded in 1504 by Sultan Sikander Lodi. The city flourished under Mughal rule and is most famous as the home of the Taj Mahal and other fine examples of Mughal architecture.
You will have lunch en route. On arrival, you will check into your hotel. Afterwards, you will leave to visit will the Agra Fort. This is a 16th century Mughal fortress built of red sandstone and comprises of many fairy tale palaces.
Next you will visit the magnificent Taj Mahal.Considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World, this gem of a monument defies description. The Taj Mahal is actually a mausoleum, commissioned by Enperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of this marble wonder began in 1632 and was completed around 1653. Thousands of laborers were employed to construct the monument, that is replete with decorate inlays, carvings and calligraphy. To this very day, the Taj is considered an architectural marvel.
You will then return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 04 Agra - Jaipur ( 260 Kms - 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, you will leave for Jaipur. Also called the ‘Pink City’, Jaipur is the city of royalty. Filled with palaces and forts, Jaipur is the perfect place for visitors to get a glimpse into Rajasthan and its culture.
En route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri followed by lunch. Built by the emperor Akbar about 35 kms from Agra, Fatehpur Sikri is home to many historical buildings. Akbar wanted to make Fatehpur Sikri his headquarters, however, he had to abandon it due to shortage of water. Today, Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World heritage site.
On arrival in Jaipur, you will check in to your hotel, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 05 Jaipur
After breakfast, you will explore the ‘Pink city’. You will begin with a visit to the Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds is a popular landmark in Jaipur. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Made of pink sand stone, the façade is almost pyramid shaped and adorned with latticework.
Next you will visit the City Palace. The City Palace is in fact a palace complex built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Many of the rooms have been turned into museums and galleries allowing visitors to catch a glimpse of Rathasthan’s regal past.
You will then get to explore the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory dating back to around 1730. Later, you will visit the Amber Fort. Bordering the Maota Lake, this beautiful citadel merges both Hindu and Mughal style of architecture. The greatest way to explore the fort is to ride up to it on an elephant!
You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 06 Jaipur - Udaipur
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Udaipur. On arrival, you will check into your hotel and have lunch. Afterwards, you will visit Sahelion ki Bari. Legend has it that this picturesque garden was built for the queen and her ladies in waiting. The lush greenery is a treat in the deserts of Rajasthan. In the evening, you will enjoy a boat ride on the Lake Picchola where locals and visitors alike come to relax.
Afterwards, you will return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 07 Udaipur
This morning, you will have breakfast and leave to visit Nagda-Eklingi. Nagda and Eklingi are famous for their old Indian temples with interesting architectural features.
You will then return to Udaipur and have lunch. Here you will visit the City Palace. This architectural marvel blends Medieval, European and Chinese architecture replete with domes, towers and arches. Afterwards, you may choose to walk around the city or visit the local bazaar to enjoy the local flavors and customs.
You will then return to your hotel and have dinner. We also recommend having a romantic pontoon dinner on Lake Picchola. You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 08 Udaipur /Mumbai - Goa
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Mumbai. From Mumbai, you will catch the connecting flight to Goa. Located on the western coast of India, Goa is the smallest India state. Known for its fantastic beaches and historical churches, Goa still exhibits its history as a Portuguese colony.
On arrival, you will check into your hotel and have some free time to relax. You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 09 Goa
After breakfast at your hotel, you will head to explore the Goan churches and cathedrals. You will start with a visit to the Se Cathedral. Consecrated in 1640, the cathedral is dedicated to Catherine of Alexandria.
Next you visit the Church of St Francis Xavier. Goans are deeply devoted to St Francis Xavier, and though the church has only one altar, this church offers visitors simple sanctity.
St. Catherine’s Church stands out as a pale yellow structure with distinctly Renaissance features. The Archaeological Survey of India now protects the church.
You will also see the Viceroy’s Arch. The arch was built as a memorial to Vasco De Gama and stands on the jetty of Old Goa. It is said that every Viceroy had to pass through this arch before taking office.
The Miramar beach is a beautiful golden beach with soft sand, and dotted with palm trees. With its captivating views, it is an ideal location for lovely long walks along the shore.
Exploring the Dona Paula fishing village was named after Dona Paula de Menezes, the wife o a nobleman who died as a young woman. These days it famous for water sports as much as being a lover’s paradise.
You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 10 Goa
Today you can explore the magnificent beaches of Goa. The many fine sand beaches in Goa have something to offer everyone. Whether it is quiet relaxation, busy flea markets, bars and parties or local cuisine, Goa’s beaches have it all.
Day 11 Goa - Delhi
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight back to Delhi. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel.
Later you will visit the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, the most prominent Sikh Temple in Delhi. It has a brilliant golden dome that makes the structure instantly recognizable. Built in 1783, the temple attracts millions of visitors annually.
You will then visit the National Museum, which houses artifacts dating back 5000 years. Afterwards, you will visit the Birla temple or Laxminarayan Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the Hindu trinity.
After lunch in the city you will have some time to explore the city on your own.
Later you will return to your hotel. Your Kamalan representative will accompany you to the airport to help you check in so you can board your flight home.
EXTENSION SHIMLA
Day 12 Delhi - Shimla
After breakfast at the hotel, you will fly to Shimla, located in the northwest Himalayas. The British, who made Shimla their summer capital, dubbed it ‘Queen of the Hills’.
On arrival, you will check in to you hotel where you will have some time to relax. Your hotel, situated at 8250 feet, will allow you to enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. You may also enjoy the outdoor Jacuzzi and heated pool. You can take plenty of walks in the trails nearby that allow you to enjoy the fragrant pine forests.
You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 13 Shimla
After breakfast, you explore the hill station of Shimla. You can take a walk along the Mall Road, which is the main shopping street with plenty of shops, restaurant and bars. People usually take their time strolling down Mall Road, stopping to chat and meet up with their friends.
You will also visit Christ Church, the second oldest church in the country with beautiful stained glass windows.
Next you will visit the nearby Jakhu Hill. Situated at 8,000 feet, this peak allows beautiful views of the town and the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains. A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman is located at the top of the hill and is also home to hundreds of monkeys all eager to be fed!
Kufri, located 13 kms away from Shimla has a small Himayalan Zoo as and has a popular ski track.
The scenic beauty of Shimla and the surrounding areas allow plenty of opportunities for mountain bicycling, horse riding and river rafting. You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 14 Shimla - Delhi

Day 12 Delhi - Haridwar (By Train) - Ananda OR Delhi - Dehradun – Ananda
Today you will either travel by train to Haridwar or by flight to Dehradun to make your way to Ananda in the Himalayas. This beautiful spa hotel is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Peaceful and tranquil, this is the perfect location to relax, detox and unwind. The spa hotel offers yoga, meditation and ayurvedic remedies for your mind and body.
After checking in, you can spend the rest of your day relaxing at the hotel.
Day 13 & 14 Ananda
You will spend the next two days trying the various wellness regimes on offer at the hotel. Traditional yoga, and Ayurveda can be combined with the finest international wellness experiences to rejuvenate you mind, body and spirit.
Day 15 Ananda - Haridwar - Delhi OR Ananda - Dehradun - Delhi
After breakfast, you will either board the train to Delhi from Haridwar or leave for Dehradun to catch your flight back to Delhi. After checking into your hotel, you will have some free time before you turn in for the night.
Day 16 Delhi

EXTENSION NASHIK
Day 12 Goa - Mumbai
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Mumbai. Once you arrive, you will check into your hotel and then head our to explore the city.
You will visit the Gateway of India. This monument, located on the waterfront in South Mumbai, was erected to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. The monument was completed in 1924. The monument was meant to be the first sight for all visitors coming to Bombay by boat.
You will also visit Chowpatty beach, a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike. People of all ages come here seeking fun and relaxation. It is dotted with kiosks and stalls of local street food.
The Prince of Wales Museum was founded in 1922 by prominent citizens of Mumbai. Divided primarily into 3 sections – art, archaeology and natural history, it houses more than 50,000 artifacts.
You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 13 Mumbai – Nashik ( 185 Kms - 5 Hrs )
This morning, you will leave for Nashik after breakfast. You will have lunch and in the evening visit Ramkund. Ramkund is an important spot for pilgrims as it is believed that Lord Ram bathed here while in exile. It is a lively place with markets nearby. You will also have the opportunity to visit some temples in Nashik. You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 14 Nashik
After breakfast, you will visit the Sula Vineyards. Rajeev Samant started this young vineyard in the late 90’s, after quitting his job in the Silicon Valley. Since then, Sula wines have grown in popularity and considered to be India’s finest wines. The vienyards now cover approximately 1500 acres of plantations.
You will have the day to tour the vineyards and visit the picturesque Tasting Rooms at the vineyard that has panoramic views of the surrounding hills. The vineyards also have a beautifully landscaped amphitheatre that hosts a variety of events. The vineyard also has a charming restaurant ‘Little Italy’ that’s offers visitors a unique dining experience.
You will have the evening at leisure and spend the night at your hotel.
Day 15 Nashik – Mumbai -
After breakfast, you will catch a train back to Mumbai. After lunch in the city, you will have some time to explore Mumbai on your own. You will have the opportunity to wash and change before heading to the airport for your return flight.
