Day 01 Cochin

On arrival, your Kamalan representative will meet you at the aiport and accompany you to your hotel. After the check in formalities are completed, you will spend the night at your hotel.

Day 02 Cochin – Peerameedu ( 180 Kms - 4 Hrs )

After breakfast, you will drive to Peeramedu, a beautiful hill resort surrounded by plantations. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel and have lunch.

Afterwards, you will explore the nearby cardamom and coffee plantations. You will then have some free time during which you can take a cooking class or take a nature walk in the area. You will have dinner and spend the night at your hotel.

Day 03 Peerameedu

After breakfast, you will visit a local tea factory and understand the processes involved in the making of tea. N

ext you will visit an Ayurvedic hospital. You will see how the holistic medicinal system of Ayurveda is used in India to treat the body and mind. You will have lunch at your hotel before having free time to relax. You will have dinner at the hotel.

Day 04 Peerameedu – Kottayam ( 80 Kms - 2 Hrs )

After breakfast at your hotel, you will leave for Kottayam. Kottaym is an important trading centre for spices and rubber, and is also the headquarters of major Keral print media. On arrival you will check in to your hotel and have lunch.

Afterwards, you will explore a nearby runner plantation and understand how this unique plant is tapped. You will return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 05 Kottayam

After breakfast at your hotel, you have the day at leisure to explore the flora and fauna of the region. After an idyllic day, you will return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 06 Kottayam – House Boat

After breakfast, you will head to Alleypey and board the houseboat. As you cruise through the beautiful backwaters of Kerala, you will have lunch and dinner on board amidst the palm trees. You will spend the night on board.

Day 07 House Boat – Muhamma ( 80 Kms - 2 Hrs )

After breakfast, on board the houseboat, you will disembark at Muhamma. There you will stay at Privacy hotel, a picturesque hotel on the backwaters. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel and have lunch.

Afterwards you will have time to explore the activities at the hotel such as massage therapy and yoga.

You will have dinner and spend the night here.

Day 08 Muhamma

After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit the local temples and take a walk in the local village. The pace of life in the region is peaceful compared to the hustle-bustle of the cities and this is the perfect place just to watch the local people, the lakes or to read and take photographs. You will have dinner and spend the night at your hotel.

Day 09 Muhamma – Mararikulam ( 12 Kms - 30 Min )

This morning you will have breakfast and leave for Mararikulam. Marari offers a glimpse into traditional fishing villages with vast expanses of pristine beaches. Full of local charm, this area makes an idyllic holiday spot.

On arrival, you will check in to your hotel and have lunch. You will have the evening at leisure and relax before turning in for the night.

DAY 10 & 11 Mararikulam

For the next two days, you can enjoy the beaches of Marari.. You can also try and Ayurvedic treatments and massages and visit the town and local temple.

You will spend the night at your hotel.

DAY 12 Mararikulam – Cochin ( 53 Kms - 1 Hrs 30 Min )

This morning, you will have breakfast and have the rest of the morning to relax. You will have lunch at your hotel and in the evening, you will head to Cochin to board your flight home.

EXTENSION LAKSHDWEEP

Day 13 Cochin- Agatti ~ Bangaram

After breakfast, you will be taken to the Cochin airport to catch a connecting flight to Agatti. Here, a representative from the Bangaram Island will help you board your motorboat that will take you to the island. Between July and September, you can reach the island by helicopter as well.

On arrival, you will check in and spend the night at your hotel.

Day 14 & 15 Bangaram Island

You can spend the next two days exploring the magnificent Bangaram Island, which has pristine silver sand beaches, breathtaking blue lagoons, coral reefs, and coconut palms. You can also engage in a variety of water sports such as snorkeling and scuba diving. Bangaram Island is also an ideal place to enjoy deep sea fishing.

Day 16 Bangaram ~ Agatti - Cochin

This morning you will have breakfast and relax. Post breakfast you will head back to Agatti by boat to catch your connecting flight to Cochin. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel and have lunch.

Afterwards, you can explore the local bazaars and a walk through the Jewish Quarter is a wonderful experience. You will return to you hotel for dinner and to wash and change before your flight home. Your Kamalan representative will assist you in boarding your flight.
