Day 01 Bangalore
On your arrival, your Kamalan representative will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your hotel to help you check in. You will spend the night here.
Day 02 Bangalore - Mysore ( 140 Kms - 3 Hrs 30 )
This morning, you will have breakfast and leave for Mysore. The city of Mysore has always reflected the grandeur of its ancient royalty and artistic traditions. It has a rich heritage with beautiful palaces and temples and is also famous for its silk and sandalwood. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel. In the evening you will visit the Mysore Palace. This spectacular building was commissioned in 1897 but was only complete in 1912. Every year it plays host to the annual Mysore Dasara festival.
Next you will visit the zoological gardens. The Chamarajenra Zoological Gardens is the one of the finest zoos, breeding animals in captivity and embarking on a unique recue and rehabilitation centre for animals. Afterwards, you will visit the local markets to soak up some of the local flavors. You will then return to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 03 Mysore – Ranganathittu – Nagarhole ( 80 Kms - 2 Hrs 30 )
This morning, you will have breakfast and head toward Nagarhole. En route, you will visit the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. On a small island on the banks of the Kaveri River, this sanctuary is home to herons, egrets, open billed storks and many more varieties of birds.
On arrival in Nagarhole, you will check in to your hotel. Afterwards, visit the Nagarhole National Park. This enchanting reserve is home to the tiger, wild elephant, antelope, and Indian wild dog.
You will then return to your hotel and spend the night.
Day 04 Nagarhole
After breakfast, you can opt for activities such as a jeep or elephant safari in the park, bird watching or exploring some of the beautiful hiking trails in the region. You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 05 Nagarhole – Mudumalai ( 200 Kms - 4 Hrs )
After breakfast this morning, you will head to Mudumalai. The Mudumalai sanctuary is a favorite with wildlife enthusiasts. With a wide range of animals and birds, the sanctuary has flat lands, grasslands, swamps and valleys.
On arrival, you will check into your hotel. You will then explore the sanctuary via an elephant or jeep safari through the beautiful landscape. You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 06 Mudumalai
This morning, you will have breakfast and then indulge some of the many activities available – you could enjoy bird watching, fishing, trekking, horse rides and even elephant rides!
You may also enjoy capturing the wildlife on camera with some wildlife photography or enjoy walk by the jungle side. You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 07 Mudumalai – Ooty ( 60 Kms - 2 Hrs )
This morning you will have breakfast and leave for Ooty. Ooty, short for ootacamund, is a popular hill resort in south India. Situated in the striking Nilgiri hills, the weather is pleasant all year round, which is why it always a popular destination with tourists.
The drive to Ooty is picturesque and on arrival, you will check into your hotel. Afterwards, you will visit a tea plantation in the area. This will give you a glimpse into the luscious greenery and serenity of tea estates.
You will also enjoy a boat ride on the Ooty Lake. John Sullivan, the first Collector of Ooty, created this lake artificially in 1823. It is a hub of activity with boating and fishing along with other entertainment nearby.
You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 08 Ooty
After breakfast, you will visit the Botanical Gardens that were laid out in 1847. Covering over 22 hectares, there are over 650 species of plants and trees. It also houses the fossil of a tree that is believed to be 20 million years old.
You will also visit the Rose garden, that has one of the largest collections of roses in India. Next you will visit St Stephen’s church, the oldest in Ooty and a modest yet extremely pretty structure.
You will also enjoy a horse ride amidst the picturesque setting before heading to the vegetable market to take in the sights and smells of the city.
You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 09 Ooty – Parambikulam ( 220 Kms - 6 Hrs )
This morning, you will have breakfast and leave for Parambikulam. The Parambikulum Wildlife Sanctuary has beautiful peninsular flora and fauna that has been well protected with minimal human interference.
On arrival, you will check in to your hotel. Afterwards, you will enjoy a walk along the jungle side to appreciate the natural beauty of the region. You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 10 Parambikulam
After breakfast, you will enjoy various activities such as environmental tour of the sanctuary, a jeep safari in the park, a nature walk and bird watching. You will learn about the environment and ecology of the region and enjoy its scenic beauty.
You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 11 Parambikulam – Munnar ( 260 Kms - 6 Hrs )
This morning, after breakfast, you will drive through the beautiful landscapes towards Munnar.
You will arrive and check in to the hotel. After lunch you will visit the tea museum in Munnar. The Tea Museum at Munnar depicts the journey and efforts of the pioneers to helped make this region into a major tea plantation centre. Tea lovers will be particularly fascinated by the various stages of tea processing.
You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 12 Munnar
After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit the local market of Munnar and take in the local sights and smells.
Next you will visit the Mattupetty Dam. At an altitufe of 1700 meters, woods and plantations surround the Mattupetty dam and lake. The scenic views make this a popular picnic spot. You will also visit the Mattupetty cattle village, a specialized dairy farm with hundreds of breeds of cattle.
You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 13 Munnar – Cochin ( 150 Kms - 3 Hrs )
After breakfast, you will drive to Cochin. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel. In the evening you will witness the traditional Kathakali dance, which involves the stunning use of masks, and make up. You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 14 Cochin
After breakfast, you will explore the city of Cochin. The Jewish synagogue in Cochin was built in 1568 and is of great historical importance. No visit to Cochin is complete without viewing its attractive collections.
You will also visit the Mattancherry or Dutch Palace. It was constructed by the Portuguese and gifted to the Raja of Kochi in 1555. It was created in the traditional style of architecture with a courtyard in the centre. It houses some of the finest murals of Hindu temple art.
The extraordinary Chinese fishing nets are a sight to behold. These unusual, elegantly balanced, shore operated fishnets are 10m high and rumored to be of Chinese origin, possibly introduced by Zhang He.
You will then head to the airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
EXTENSION LAKSHDWEEP
Day 15 Cochin - Agatti ~ Bangaram
After breakfast, you will be taken to the Cochin airport to catch a connecting flight to Agatti. Here, a representative from the Bangaram Island will help you board your motorboat that will take you to the island. Between July and September, you can reach the island by helicopter as well.
On arrival, you will check in and spend the night at your hotel.
Day 16 & 17 Bangaram Island
You can spend the next couple of days exploring the magnificent Bangaram Island, which has pristine silver sand beaches, breathtaking blue lagoons, coral reefs, and coconut palms. You can also engage in a variety of water sports such as snorkeling and scuba diving. Bangaram Island is also an ideal place to enjoy deep sea fishing.
Day 18 Bangaram ~ Agatti - Cochin
This morning you will have breakfast and relax. Post breakfast you will head back to Agatti by boat to catch your connecting flight to Cochin. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel and relax. Afterwards, you will head to the airport to catch your return flight.
EXTENSION MARARIKULAM
Day 14 Cochin – Allepey - Mararikulam ( 70 Kms - 1 Hrs 30 )
After breakfast, you will drive to Alleppey. Here you will board a house boat fro a day cruise on the backwaters of Kerala.
In the evening, you will drive to Marari. Marari offers a glimpse into traditional fishing villages with vast expanses of pristine beaches. Full of local charm, this area makes an idyllic holiday spot.
On arrival, you will check in to your hotel and spend the night.
Day 15 & 16 Mararikulam
Today you will have a free day at the beach. You can also try and Ayurvedic treatments and massages and visit the town and local temple.
You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 17 Mararikulam - Cochin ( 53 Kms - 1 Hrs 30 )
After breakfast, you will head to Cochin. You will check into your hotel on arrival.

Day 14 Cochin – Kumarakom ( 55 Kms - 1 Hrs 30 )
After breakfast, you will head to Kumarakom. This is an idyllic set of islands Vembanad Lake in Kerala. On arrival, you will check into your hotel. You will then have some free time to relax. You will have dinner and spend the night at your hotel.
Day 15 Kumarakom
After breakfast, you will board the houseboat for a day cruise around Kumarakom. In the evening, you will return to your hotel and spend the night
Day 16 Kumarakom
After breakfast, you will have the day to relax at the resort on the backwaters. You will also have time to enjoy a relaxing ayurvedic massage. After a relaxing day, you will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 17 Kumarakom – Cochin ( 55 Kms - 1 Hrs 30 )
After breakfast, you will head to Cochin. You will check into your hotel on arrival. Afterwards, you will explore the city of Cochin. You will start with a visit of the Jewish synagogue. EXTENSION GOA
Day 15 Cochin - Goa
This morning, you will head to the airport after breakfast to board your flight to Goa. On arrival, you will head to your hotel to check in.
Afterwards, you will visit the Church of St Francis of Assisi. This church, originally built around 1551, by a group of Franciscan friars, was later demolished. The present church was built in 1661. After the Portuguese closed the convent in 1835, it fell into a state of disrepair. In 1964, the Archaeological Survey of India resurrected the church, and it now also houses a museum.
Next you will visit the Cathedral of Bom Jesus. This Basilica has long attracted Catholics from all over the world as it houses the mortal remains of St Francis Xavier, the patron saint of Goa. His body is embalmed in glass coffin inside a silver coffin.
After visiting the churches, you will walk through the old Portuguese colonies. You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 16 & 17 Goa
You can spend the next couple of day exploring the magnificent beaches of Goa. The many fine sand beaches in Goa have something to offer everyone. Whether it is quiet relaxation, busy flea markets, bars and parties or local cuisine, Goa’s beaches have it all.
Day 18 Goa - Mumbai
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Mumbai. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel. You will then have some time to explore the city. You will visit the Chowpatty beach, a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike. People of all ages come here seeking fun and relaxation. It is dotted with kiosks and stalls of local street food.
The Prince of Wales Museum was founded in 1922 by prominent citizens of Mumbai. Divided primarily into 3 sections – art, archaeology and natural history, it houses more than 50,000 artifacts.
You will also visit the Gateway of India. This monument, located on the waterfront in South Mumbai, was erected to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. The monument was completed in 1924. The monument was meant to be the first sight for all visitors coming to Bombay by boat.
You will have dinner in the city before returning to your hotel. You will then head to the airport to catch your flight home.
