Day 01 Delhi
On arrival, your Kamalan representative will meet you at the airport, and accompany you to your hotel to help you with the check–in formalities. You will spend the night here.
Day 02 Delhi - Kullu – Manali ( 51 Kms - 1 Hrs 30 )
After early breakfast and head to the airport to catch the flight to Kullu. On arrival, you will be met by your Kamalan representative and head to Manali
In Manali, you will check in to your hotel and have lunch. Afterwards, you will visit the Naggar Castle. This is a fine example of timber-bonded building of the Western Himlayas.
Next you will visit the Hadimba Temple. This is a four storied wooden temple built in the pagoda style in 1533.
You will also visit the Tibetan monastery, famous for its Tibetan handicrafts. Afterwards, you will visit the Bashist springs. These sulphurous hot water springs are situated among views of the sweeping valleys.
You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 03 Manali – Jispa ( 147 Kms - 6-7 Hrs )
After breakfast this morning, you will leave for Jispa with a packed lunch. The drive to this small village is breathtaking and you will have plenty of opportunities to capture the views on your camera.
Jispa is known for its sounds of nature and spectacular natural beauty. You will have the evening to enjoy the surroundings at leisure.
You will have dinner and spend the night at your hotel.
Day 04 Jispa – Sarchu ( 75 Kms - 5 Hrs )
This morning you will have breakfast and leave for Sarchu, with a packed lunch.
Ride to Sarchu is just as memorable as the destination. Sarchu itself is surrounded by cold desert mountains. You will have the evening at leisure to enjoy the surroundings before dinner and spending the night at your hotel.
Day 05 Sarchu – Tsomorriri ( 173 Kms - 6-7 Hrs )
After breakfast, you will leave for Tsomorirr, enroute you will visit the Tsokar Lake. The lake has rich deposits of impure salt on its northern shore. You will also visit the Polo Koanga Pass and Sungo village.
On arrival, you will check into your hotel. In the evening, you will take a walk along the Tsomoriri Lake. The surprising clear blue water of the lake is considered sacred by locals.
You will have dinner and spend the night at your camp.
Day 06 Tsomorriri – Leh ( 220 Kms - 6-7 Hrs )
This morning, after breakfast, you will visit the Korzok Monastery, situated on the western bank of the lake. This is one of the oldest settlements in the world, and is famous for its annual festival featuring the ‘Black Hat’ dance. You will then leave for Leh with a packed lunch. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel, have dinner and spend the night.
Day 07 Leh
After breakfast, you will visit the Sankar Monastery. This monastery belongs to the Gelukpa sect and is famous for its image of Avalokitesvara depicted with 1,000 arms and 11 heads.
Next you will visit the Leh Palace. Though now in ruins, the Leh Palace was modeled on the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet.Afterwards, you will visit the Spituk Gompa. This Gompa dates back to the 11th century.
After lunch you will visit Phyang; The Phyang Gompa belongs to the Red Hat sect of Buddhism and also has an 800 year old museum.Return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 08 Leh
After breakfast, you will visit the Hemis monastery. It was constructed in 1630 and is the largest monastery in the region. Next you will visit the Thiksey monastery. One of the finest examples of Ladakhi architecture, this 12-storey monastery contains numerous statues, wall paintings and sacred shrines.
Afterwards, you will visit the Shey monastery. This was once the royal residence and the seat of power. The monastery has large and unique statues of the Buddha.
You will then return to your hotel where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 09 Leh
After breakfast, you will carry a packed and lunch and visit Stok. The Stok Gompa dates back to the 14th century and is known for its library. Next you will visit the Matho Gompa. This is the only Gompa in Ladakh of the Saskya order and has a number of sacred shrines. Afterwards, you will visit the Stakna monastery. Situated on an isolated rock, the name Stakna, literally means ‘tiger’s nose’ because of its location.
You will then return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 10 Leh – Lamayuru ( 140 Kms - 5 Hrs )
This morning you will have breakfast, and head for Lamayuru with a packed lunch. Enroute, you will visit the Temisgam Monastery. The barren and remote setting of the monastery makes this visit an unforgettable one.
On arrival, you will check in to your hotel. Afterwards you will visit the Lamayuru Monastery. One of the oldest monasteries in the region, the Lamaruyu monastery is set against a stark landscape making the visit all the more spell bindingYou will then return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 11 Lamayuru – Uleytokpo ( 75 Kms - 3 Hrs )
After breakfast, you will leave for Uleytokpo. You will check into your hotel and have lunch. Afterwards, you will visit the Ridzong Monastery and the Thardot Cheoling Nunnery. The monastery is very isolated and the monastic community follows strict rules and regulations. This Gelugpa monastery is about 120 years old and contains beautiful wall paintings. The nunnery is home to about 20 nuns where they love a simple and austere life.
You will then return to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 12 Uleytokpo – Leh ( 75 Kms - 3 Hrs )
This morning, you will have breakfast and head back to Leh.En route, you will visit Alchi. The Alchi Gompa is renowned and celebrated monastery in Ladakh. Built in the 11th century, the monastery is famous for its paintings and architecture.
En route you will visit Likir. The small town of Likir is most famous for the Likir Monastery. It is believed that the monastery was originally built in the 11 century. It is also believed to be surrounded by the bodies of two great serpent spirits.
On arrival in Leh, you will check into your hotel and have lunch. You will have the evening at leisure and spend the night at your hotel.
DAY 13 Leh - Delhi
After a light breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Delhi. Your Kamalan representative will meet you on arrival. You will then visit the Jama Masjid. The Jama Masjid is the largest and perhaps the best-known mosques in India. Commissioned by emperor Shah Jahan, and completed in 1656, the courtyard of the mosque can hold about 25,000 worshippers.
Next you will visit the Red Fort. Also constructed under the emperor Shah Jahan, this fort also served as the residence for the Mughal royal family. The British later used it as a military camp. It continues to be significant even today, as every Independence Day, the Prime Minister raises the flag here. You will also enjoy a memorable rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi.
Next you will see India Gate, one of the largest war memorials in India. Designed by Edward Lutyens, it commemorates the thousands of soldiers that lost their lives during the First World War. This monument is an important landmark in Delhi, with many important roads leading off the Gate. In the evenings, India Gate is lit up and you will find many families enjoying their free time nearby.
Afterwards, you will check into your hotel and have lunch. You will then have the evening at leisure. After dinner, you will head to the airport to catch you return flight.
EXTENSION GOA:
Day 14 Delhi - Goa
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Goa.Located on the western coast of India, Goa is the smallest India state. Known for its fantastic beaches and historical churches, Goa still exhibits its history as a Portuguese colony.
On arrival, you will check into your hotel and have lunch. You will have the evening at leisure and spend the night at your hotel.
Day 15 & 16 Goa
During those two days , you will have some time to relax and explore the magnificent beaches of Goa. The many fine sand beaches in Goa have something to offer everyone. Whether it is quiet relaxation, busy flea markets, bars and parties or local cuisine, Goa’s beaches have it all. You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 17 Goa - Delhi
After breakfast, you can spend some time at the beach.Post lunch you will head to the airport to catch your flight back to Delhi. You will be met by your Kamalan representative on your arrival. You will have the chance to wash and change before catching your flight back home.
EXTENSION SHIMLA
Day 14 Delhi - Shimla
After breakfast at the hotel, you will fly to Shimla, located in the northwest Himalayas. The British, who made Shimla their summer capital, dubbed it ‘Queen of the Hills’.
On arrival, you will check in to you hotel where you will have some time to relax. Your hotel, situated at 8250 feet, will allow you to enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. You may also enjoy the outdoor Jacuzzi and heated pool. You can take plenty of walks in the trails nearby that allow you to enjoy the fragrant pine forests.
You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 15 Shimla
After breakfast, you explore the hill station of Shimla.
You will also visit Christ Church, the second oldest church in the country with beautiful stained glass windows.
Next you will visit the nearby Jakhu Hill. Situated at 8,000 feet, this peak allows beautiful views of the town and the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains. A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman is located at the top of the hill and is also home to hundreds of monkeys all eager to be fed!
Kufri, located 13 kms away from Shimla has a small Himayalan Zoo as and has a popular ski track.
After lunch, you can take a walk along the Mall Road, which is the main shopping street with plenty of shops, restaurant and bars. People usually take their time strolling down Mall Road, stopping to chat and meet up with their friends.
The scenic beauty of Shimla and the surrounding areas allow plenty of opportunities for mountain bicycling, horse riding and river rafting. You will then return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 16 Shimla - Delhi
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight back to Delhi. You will be met by your Kamalan representative on your arrival. You will have the room to wash and change before catching your flight back home.
EXTENSION ANANDA
Day 14 Delhi - Haridwar Or Dheradun - Ananda
Today you can either travel by train to Haridwar or by flight to Dehradun to make your way to Ananda in the Himalayas. This beautiful spa hotel is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Peaceful and tranquil, this is the perfect location to relax, detox and unwind. The spa hotel offers yoga, meditation and ayurvedic remedies for your mind and body.
After checking in, you can spend the rest of your day relaxing at the hotel.
Day 15 Ananda

Day 17 Ananda - Haridwar Or Dehradun
After breakfast, you will either board the train to Delhi from Haridwar or leave for Dehradun to catch your flight back to Delhi. You will be met by your Kamalan representative on arrival, who will help you check into your hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 18 Delhi
After breakfast, will visit the Qutab Minar. This is the tallest brick minaret in the world, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi. His successors continued to enhance the structure, with the final storey added in 1386.
The next stop is Humayun’s tomb. Commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562, it was the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent. The Persian architect used red sandstone on a large scale and this UNESCO world heritage site represented a huge leap for Mughal architecture.
After lunch in the city, you will relax at your hotel and get ready to leave for the airport. Your Kamalan representative will help you to board your flight home.
EXTENSION AMRITSAR
Day 14 Delhi - Amritsar
After breakfast, you will head to the station to board your train to Amritsar. On arrival, you will check into your hotel and have lunch. Then you will head to explore the city of Amritsar. Situated in the northwestern region of India, Amritsar is close to India’s border with Pakistan. The city is well known for the Golden Temple and its warm and hospitable people.
On arrival, you will check into your hotel and have lunch before exploring the city. You will start with a visit to the Golden Temple. This is the most significant temple for the Sikh community. The ‘langar’ or community kitchen serves free meals all year round to roughly 40,000 visitors a day. It is truly a remarkable experience to visit this place of worship.
After this, you will visit the Jallianwala Bagh. This small park was the site of a massacre in 1919 spearheaded by a British general. This event caused general unrest and agitations and was one of the precursors to India’s struggle for freedom.
Next you will visit the Durgiana temple. Dedicated to the Goddess Durga, this temple is based on the architecture of the Golden Temple. You will then visit Rambagh, the palace and gardens of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The summer palace has now been converted into a museum holding weapons and portraits.
You will then return to your hotel to spend the night
Day 15 Amritsar - Delhi
This morning you will begin with an early morning visit to the Golden Temple. You will then return to your hotel for breakfast. Afterwards you will head to the station to board the train to Delhi. Day 14 Delhi - Varanasi
After breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Varanasi. The ancient city of Varanasi on the banks of the River Ganges is considered the holiest city for Hindu pilgrims. Hindus believe that bathing in the Ganges at Varanasi will remit their sins. It is also considered a holy city for Buddhists, believed to have been designated a pilgrimage site by Gautama Buddha himself. A city of temples, art, literature and education, the atmosphere in Varanasi is completely unique.
On arrival, you will check into your hotel.In the evening, you will witness the Aarti ceremony at the ghats. Every evening, this prayer ceremony is performed amidst pealing bells and hundreds of pilgrims. Ritual lamps are lit, signifying the light of wisdom, offering pilgrims the chance to purify themselves. This deeply touching experience is truly a sight to behold.
You will then return to your hotel to spend the night
Day 15 Varanasi
Early this morning you will leave for a boat ride on the Ganges. This enthralling experience will allow you to witness people offering their prayers, professional washer men doing the laundry as well people waking up to do their daily chores.
You will also discover the narrow lanes of Varanasi. These old serpentine lines will allow you to experience the life of the local people, which is almost reminiscent of a bygone era.
After lunch in the city, you head to Sarnath for an excursion. Sarnath is a holy pilgrimage site for Buddhists. It is the site of the deer park where Gautama Buddha taught his Dharma (faith) and is also an important centre for the arts.
You will then return to the hotel to relax and spend the night.
Day 16 Varanasi - Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, you can relax or explore the city on your own. You will then head to the airport to board your flight back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will check into your hotel for wash and change before you can leave for you leave for back home.
EXTENSION JAIPUR & AGRA
Day 14 Delhi – Jaipur ( 240 Kms - 5 Hrs )
After breakfast, you will head towards Jaipur. Also called the ‘Pink City’, Jaipur is the city of royalty. Filled with palaces and forts, Jaipur is the perfect place for visitors to get a glimpse into Rajasthan and its culture.
Once you have checked into your hotel and had lunch, you will leave to visit the Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds is a popular landmark in Jaipur. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Made of pink sand stone, the façade is almost pyramid shaped and adorned with latticework. You will then visit the local bazaars of the area and have some free time before heading back to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 15 Jaipur
After breakfast, you will explore the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur. You will visit the Amber Fort. Bordering the Maota Lake, this beautiful citadel merges both Hindu and Mughal style of architecture. The greatest way to explore the fort is to ride up to it on an elephant!
Next you will visit the City Palace. The City Palace is in fact a palace complex built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Many of the rooms have been turned into museums and galleries allowing visitors to catch a glimpse of Rathasthan’s regal past.
After lunch in the city, you will then get to explore the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory dating back to around 1730.
To enjoy the local flavor of the area, you will experience a rickshaw ride through the local bazaars. You will then return to your hotel, where you will have your evening free before you turn in for the night.
Day 16 Jaipur – Agra ( 240 Kms - 5 Hrs )
After breakfast, you will leave for Agra. The city of Agra is believed to have been founded in 1504 by Sultan Sikander Lodi. The city flourished under Mughal rule and is most famous as the home of the Taj Mahal and other fine examples of Mughal architecture.
On arrival, you will check in to your hotel. After lunch, you will visit Itimad Ud Daulah. This is a mausoleum commissioned by the Mughal Empress Nur jehan for her father. It is believed to be the blue print of the Taj Mahal and is said to resemble a jewel in a marble box.
You will then head back to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 17 Agra – Delhi ( 204 Kms - 5 Hrs )
Early this morning you see the magnificent Taj Mahal.Considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World, this gem of a monument defies description. The Taj Mahal is actually a mausoleum, commissioned by Enperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of this marble wonder began in 1632 and was completed around 1653. Thousands of laborers were employed to construct the monument, that is replete with decorate inlays, carvings and calligraphy. To this very day, the Taj is considered an architectural marvel.
Next you will visit the Agra Fort. This is a 16th century Mughal fortress built of red sandstone and comprises of many fairy tale palaces.
You will then head to Delhi. You will have lunch in the city and have some free time to explore at leisure. After dinner, you will head to the airport to board your return flight.
